New Radio Receiver, means I need new speakers because now the speakers soound like trash. I chose to go with Kicker brand I installed the 6.5 Kicker 43CSC654 Speakers in the door. It was an easy install pop the door panel off and put in the speakers in the door. Behind the seat I installed 4x6 Kicker 43CSC464 Speakers.
My uncle had put in a Dual brand radio before I got the truck. That radio stopped working I went looking for a replacement radio. I ended up finding a Dual Electronics' XDM280BT Multimedia Radio at the local WalMart. It was an easy install because all the wiring was the same so I just used the wiring harness already installed in the truck. I have installed many radio receivers before so I could have done a complete install instead of re-using the wiring already installed but why would I do that. I like this radio, it does what I need, the basics without the high cost and extra bullshit.
