Painted Rims

I would like to buy a new set of chrome wheels but I can't figure out which ones I want and the cost is not justified because this truck is not a show truck. So instead of buying new rims I decided to paint the original rims back to their original factory look. I watched a few youtube videos then I decided to basically clean and paint. I used a trick I found online of sticking playing cards around the edge between the rim and tire to block overspray. First I primed them with primer, then painted with Rust-Oleum 248927 Automotive High Performance Wheel Spray Paint, 11 oz., Steel . Once that was dry I used Rust-Oleum 248929 Automotive High Performance Wheel Spray Paint, 11 oz, Clear as a clear coat to protect them. I painted two at a time using thee spare tire to hold one spot and the jack and jack stands to hold the other up while I painted.

Replace Rear Taillights with Euro Inspired Lights

The front is done and looking good, Now its time to work on the back. I replaced the rear OEM taillights with a pair of Euro Inspired lights. This install was way easier than the front install. Just removed the screws from light and they come out. Screw the bulbs into the new lights and reinstall. Easy Peazy, Lemon Squeezy.

Putting In That Work

More yard work at the future homestead. Cleaning out the field behind the house, I found a bunch of old tires, old furtinature, and bricks. Glad I got my truck to haul all this junk to the dump. I got to find a place to take all theses tires to get recycled. I can't burn them and the dump won't take them. There's way more than in the photo.
