New Exhaust Tip

I found this exhaust tip at Ross. I wasn't looking for an exhaust tip but it was just sitting in Ross, so I grab it and I'm glad I did. It really gives the truck a different look. 

Universal Car HUD Head Up Display

Another slickdeal find, I bought an Universal Car HUD Head Up Display. This display uses GPS to display the speed as the truck moves. I stuck it on the steering wheel. Its accurate but I had to adjust it down to get calibrate it. 

Replace Wheel Center Hub Cap Stickers

One of my center hub cap stickers fell off at some point in time. I had to replace it, but I found it cheaper or a better deal to buy a four pack of 65mm 2.56'' Cheverolet Bowtie Logo Wheel Center Hubcap Sticker. They were a little smaller than the original but once they are put on its not that noticeable.

Windows Tinted

I bought a precut window tint from ebay a few months ago. I intended on putting the tint on myself. I actually tired to put the tint on but it was unsuccessful because it stuck together and tore. The ebay seller offered free replacements so i emailed him and he sent a free replacement. I stuck it in the garage. Today I decided to go to a local tint company to get the windows professionally done but when I got there they were closed so I returned home and talked myself into doing it myself on the way home. When I got home I just did it. I used a lot, a lot of water to make sure it didn't stick to itself or tore. It was a success. The tint looks good. Not bad for a DIY job. 

Bull Rings

Bull Rings are need hooks that attach inside the opening on the truck bed rail. The hook is retractable so it gives a clean look when it lowered and not in use. When its time to tie something down they pull up and are super strong. Also they hold the bed rail cover down, stopping it from coming lose in the event the double sided tape gives up. 

Happy Father's Day!

For father's day, my older brother bought me a new Craftsman Truck Tool Box. I went with chrome instead of black this time because of the truck's chrome accents. I removed the craftsman logo from the back and replaced it with an NCSU car emblem, I had purchased before for another vehicle. I like this new tool box, its more secure than the old one even though i put in all that hard work repairing the old tool box.
