The after is definitely better than the before. It looks like a brand new truck when compared to the original. All I did was replaced the Bowtie, the Grill and the Headlights. That makes a word of difference in look. No more yellowing in the headlights, they're clear to see the black. I didn't replace the side lamp covers to clear with black housings because I thought the original yellow looked better and more authentic. Plus I'm not sure what NC laws say about the light covers being yellow so to be on the safe side, I keep them original.

Replacing The Grill, Headlights and Bowtie
My headlights are faded and the grill has a crack in it. SO I decided to do a whole front end restoration. I watched a couple of youtube videos on how to remove the grill and replace the headlights. It seemed easy enough that I decided to tackle the job. It took a few hours to do but it could be partly because of the slight rain that happened. I ordered a black Chevy Bowtie, a new Chevy Grill, and a complete set of black housing Headlights. I wanted a dark look on chrome.
